- Chair Yoga - Take a Seat6 weeksChair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that can be done sitting on a chair or standing on the ground while using the chair for support. Suitable for those who enjoy a spacious practice with time to feel the body and breath, those recovering from injury who wish not to be up and down off the floor, or those who want to approach their practice from a different angle to gain new perspective.
- Strengthen your Back and Core - Aerial Yoga for a Healthier Spine4 weeks coursePAIN IN THE BACK? WEAK CORE?Many of us suspect our core could use a boost. Back pain is a common woe, affecting a third of us annually…Yoga, as a regular practice, excels in back care by fortifying the core and enhancing spinal mobility. This course takes it a step further. Aerial silks offer a unique advantage over traditional mat yoga – they provide traction. Using the silks, we can physically elongate the spine, isolating the vertebrae while cultivating balance, strength, and flexibility.This course is well-suited for individuals dealing with chronic pain, scoliosis, lordosis, kyphosis, sciatica, or herniated discs. The silks will be tailored to accommodate your physical condition and strength. Absolute beginners are especially encouraged to join.
- Baby Yoga - March6 weeks Wednesdays 10am
Gentle movement and mindfulness for the postnatal period for you and your new baby. Suitable for babies from 8/10 weeks up to crawling.A mindful, relaxing and restorative Yoga practice incorporating movement and holds, songs and gentle stretches for your baby. This style of Yoga promotes bonding and eases common complaints such as colic, restlessness and unexplained crying. Baby yoga can help to support your baby’s development and helps you build awareness of their growth and development.These classes are friendly, inclusive and promote a sense of community and new friendships. You’ll sit in circle with with the same group of women each week coming to appreciate and trust the support that you find in this wonderful and often challenging stage of your life. You are welcome to join part way though a block when there is space. Just drop us a line.
