Meet Sarah
With over 1,000 hours of Yoga Alliance training, Sarah is a dedicated and experienced yoga instructor, holding certifications in Hatha Yoga (200hr YTTC), Pranayama (150hr TT), Ayurveda Health Counseling (600hr), Pregnancy Yoga (95hr TT), and Neurobiomechanics (30hr TT). She is currently expanding her knowledge in Neuroscience through the School of Z-Health.
Before discovering her passion for yoga, Sarah was a college lecturer, bringing a strong background in education and a commitment to holistic health. Her teaching approach empowers students to explore their potential, cultivating kindness, body appreciation, and a sense of wonder.

This course will help you explore the principles of Ayurveda in a practical and accessible way, empowering you to integrate its teachings into your Yoga practice, lifestyle, and teaching methods. By understanding the body’s natural rhythms, energetic imbalances, and healing pathways, you will unlock a new depth to your practice and your ability to support your students in their wellness journeys.
- Foundations of Ayurveda:
- Learn the basics of Ayurveda—its ancient principles, including the 5 elements (earth, water, fire, air, and ether) and the 3 doshas (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha).
- Understand the qualities of each dosha and how they manifest in both the body and the mind.
- Gain insight into how the doshas affect everything from digestion to emotional wellbeing, and how to assess your own dosha balance.
- Svadhyaya: The Practice of Self-Observation:
- Explore Svadhyaya, or self-study, as a method for cultivating mindfulness and self-awareness.

Accreditation
For certification with Yoga Alliance, there will be a 2.5 hour assignment / post course reflection to be submitted within 4 weeks of the course.
