This three-day CPD is designed to help you safely guide pregnant students through each stage of pregnancy, while creating classes that feel empowering, nurturing, and deeply supportive.

What we will cover
Across the three days, you’ll explore the foundations of safe, effective prenatal yoga teaching, combining theory with practical application:
- Benefits of a prenatal yoga practice
- How to adapt yoga for pregnancy within general or specialist classes
- The pregnant body: changes across each trimester
- Pelvic floor awareness and support
- Anatomy: how the body and baby develop throughout pregnancy
- Sequencing for prenatal yoga classes
- Trimester-specific guidance and asana adaptations
- Pranayama and meditation for pregnancy
- Common conditions, health concerns, and when to modify or refer
- Introduction to acupuncture points to support labour preparation
- Practice teaching to build confidence
- Marketing and ethics when working with pregnant students

Meet Charlotte Larkin
Charlotte is an experienced yoga teacher trainer specialising in women’s health, prenatal and postnatal yoga.
Her approach blends anatomical understanding with intuitive, compassionate teaching. She is passionate about helping teachers feel confident and capable when supporting women through pregnancy, creating a learning space that is both grounded and inspiring.
