Hatha Yoga Teacher Training

YTTC 200 Hours

September 2022

Registered Yoga School

This is only the beginning…

This course is for yoga practitioners who wish to deepen and enrich their own practice first and foremost – to immerse themselves fully, understand more deeply and further embed yoga into their lifelong journey. Once a strong personal practice is established, we then begin to build tools and techniques to communicate this to others to share your understanding of your practice and experiences (teaching!). Whilst teaching pedagogy and planning is a significant part of this course, the emphasis is always on embedding your own practice and yoga journey.

We are committed to quality, authentic yoga, founded on clear teachings of traditional yogic texts. We seek to honour both the Indian roots, the wisdom of our teachers who bless us with their understanding and the lineage from which we came.

We believe everybody should be able to access Yoga – we celebrate yoga for all abilities, ages, backgrounds and beliefs.

50% Yoga Subsidy for Underrepresented Minority Groups

As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting a more diverse and equitable yoga community, we have developed a Teacher Training Subsidy programme. We offer two subsidised spaces to our Teacher Training course to dedicated and committed applicants from underrepresented minority groups, who would otherwise be unable to afford to attend a Teacher Training Programme. The subsidy reduces the course fees payable by the applicant by 50%.

Our panel of independent judges will make the selection based on a number of factors including financial position, background, disadvantages, representation, dedication to yoga, level of practice and the ability to overcome adversity.

If you can demonstrate a commitment to the practice and study of yoga (2 years experience) and any of the following statements apply to you, you are eligible to apply for the 50% fee reduction:

  • belong to a black, asian or any other minority ethnic group which you feel is not represented in the yoga community
  • practice in a bigger body
  • practice with a visible medical condition or disability

100% attendance and commitment to all of our courses is required. Please ensure you are in a position to accept the offer of joining the course before making your application. Do read extensively about the course, the commitment required and the scheduled dates in all other sections.
